Working In Classic Monochrome

I’ve always enjoyed dressing up from a young age.  Can’t say that I always had the fashion part right until I reached my 20’s .   For today’s Fashion Post I decided on a work look in Classic Monochrome.

In the workplace I tend to be extremely focused on getting the job done right while developing those in my team.  I’ve always held a high regard for creating winners and nurturing future leaders. My colleagues can attest to this. I firmly believe in dressing for success as presentation is key and reflects what you think of yourself.

About this look: CLASSIC MONOCHROME

Photographer: Tegan Smith Photography

– I’ve created a modest work look with an off the shoulder top by Anneen Henze Collection. I love the texture and the fine detailed cutouts of this top.

– I’m wearing a vintage styled white shirt underneath, which you can’t fully see – I chose this shirt for its subtle black detail which complements the off the shoulder top.

– Since its the beginning of the year, I assume we’ve all had quite a party and picked up a bit of unwanted weight.  If you are feeling a bit overly shaped, black is the perfect colour for a slim look. Hence the reason I’ve used an A-Line black skirt.

– Paired the look with accessories to enhance the classic look :  Earings by Pleasures, Shoes by Edgars, black belt with gold rectangular buckle, Royfire New York sunglasses by Falco Milano, laptop bag by Louis Vuitton, Turban Styled By ChicTurbanStyling.
