If you want something – put it out there !

How many times have you thought of something in the hopes that it would come true…. a dream job, good money, an abundance of time, a happy home..    Fulfilling these dreams are not as far off as experiencing them only in your sleep.  It can be a reality if you WILL it, BELIEVE it and ACT TOWARD it.

How about doing a good deed like the the saying goes “What goes around, comes around” .  Spreading love, peace and good tidings helps to nurture the returns you will get by doing amazing deeds.

But be warned –  because the same is true for every bad thought or deed, and you don’t want any bad karma ;- ever heard of Karma

noun: karma
(in Hinduism and Buddhism) the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences.
  • informal
good or bad luck, viewed as resulting from one’s actions.

In putting an image or thought or an idea out there, whether by writing it down, drawing or envisioning yourself in a particular state, you are directing your actions and the people around you to move you in the direction of the images, thoughts and ideas you have created for your future self.  (read it again, take it in and it will make sense)
So if I were to say; see myself on the cover of Times magazine as the 100 most influential people in the world (haha yes putting it out there) – it may not be that I will appear on the next cover of Time magazine as the below image suggests, but it could be that I’ll possibly be seen on a cover of a magazine, or in the magazine or maybe just an incerpt, anything really…. you get my drift.

…. if you don’t put it out there, you’ll never know if it can be achieved.
…. and what do you know, it may very well happen, as it happened for me.

As for being amont the most influential women, the below awards will have to do (for now because I’m stilll dreaming 🙂 .
  • In 2006 I won an award for amateur poetry in an International Poetry Contest.
  • In 2011 I received a merit award for the CEO South Africas Most Influential Women in Business and Government in the Media, Print, Radio and Tv Sector {alongside Jane Raphaely (CEO of Associated Media) and Lyn Dutoit (CEO of Juta Books).
  • In 2017 I received 3rd place in the Margaret Hirsch Women in Business Award.

So if you’re about to face the dragon of the world, make sure you have put out the end result and let your wisdom, strength, and inner being be the victor in all you wish to achieve.
